This video is a great sing-a-long for all ages. I've been searching for this video for years on line. My son who has autism and is non-verbal loves this video and his old copy has had it from so much use. Please re-release this great Kernit the frog sing-a-long video so that all children can enjoy the magic of music at home. I don't understand why these videos disappear from the stores, surely they will sell.It is so hard finding good, clean videos anymore and this being such a classic from the muppets who are still very popular. I hope someone reads this and can offer this great muppet sing-a-long to the public to order as soon as possible.THANK YOU ! Sincerely Judy Keller from Ohio.

The Hello Kitty Diamond DVD Collection (2000) Review

The Hello Kitty Diamond DVD Collection (2000)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I love this Hello Kitty gift set! The cartoons are from the 1980's Hello Kitty tv series "Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater," which are variations on popular fairy tales/movies. They feature Hello Kitty, My Melody, Tuxedo Sam, Chip, Catnip & Grinder, who are actors in the theatre.
Each DVD contains 5 fairy tales, and each fairy tale is about 10 minutes long and has its own unique take on the familiar stories. They are also changed to be less violent, nicer and more suited for children (water balloon fights instead of guns). This gift set contains all the episodes from the Furry Tale Theater series (that I know exist), except for "How ScrinChip Stole Christmas." (I am a little sad they left one out of the set!)
The quality of the DVD's are more like TV broadcast quality and this is the reason I've given it 4 stars instead of 5. I think they could've enhanced the quality before putting it onto DVD. I already owned the 2 Furry Tale Theater VHS's (Kitty and the Beast, The Wizard of Paws), so I already knew what to expect.
Each of the individual DVD's contained episodes I had not seen on the videos, so, I decided to get this gift set which has 2 extra DVD's not available for sale individually. I am not disappointed! I'm an adult Sanrio collector and I loved seeing these episodes, and I would feel good about letting my children see these too.
The following is the list of the episodes in each DVD:
"Hello Kitty Becomes a Princess" has Kitty and the Beast, Snow White Kitty and the One Dwarf, Sleeping Kitty, CinderKitty, and KittyLocks and the Three Bears.
"Hello Kitty Saves the Day" contains Grinder Genie and the Magic Lamp, Peter Penguin, Tar-Sam of the Jungle, Paws of the Round Table, and Crocodile Penguin.
"Hello Kitty Goes to the Movies" has The Wizard of Paws, K.T. the Kitty Terrestial, Kitty and the Kong, Cat Wars, and Paws- the Great White Dog-Shark.
The following two are the extra DVD's that come in this set:
"Hello Kitty Plays Pretend" contains The Phantom of the Theater, Frankencat, Catula, The Pawed Piper, and Rumpeldogskin.
"Hello Kitty Tells Fairy Tales" has Robin Penguin, Hello Mother Goose, The Ugly Quackling, Pinocchio Penguin, and Little Red Bunny Hood.

30-Second Bunnies Theatre Collectible DVD presented by Starz and Angry Alien Productions (Amazon.com Exclusive) Review

30-Second Bunnies Theatre Collectible DVD presented by Starz and Angry Alien Productions (Amazon.com Exclusive)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)

Even the DVD has not been released yet the 30-Second Bunnies are one of my favorite parody videos. The effort that is putten to each of the shortfilms shows the best known scenes of each movie that it is related to. And there are bursts of laughter everytime.
I was once watching War of the Worlds in television and just a few days later i stumpled over the 30-Second re-enacted by bunnies. And i nearly got a fit of laughter. The voices, the rabbit ears on the UFO and the martians themself.
And there are much more fantastic re-enacted Videos.
Even if i know them all, i will go get this DVD. The 30-Second Bunnies can sweeten your day and laughing is good for your health.

Dante's Inferno Review

Dante's Inferno
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Ovation TV is showing this film in their animation week. Thank you, Ovation.
As Virgil says, "I don't like puppets." But I will make an exception for this work of art. The technique is similar to the Shadow Puppetry of SE Asia. At one point, Ulysses introduces a movie of what he did after Troy. The "movie" uses the traditional shadow puppets to show Bush's fantasy of bringing democracy to the Middle East. The entire movie is clever in its use of the puppetry.
This is the ultimate message movie with heavy-handed commentary. But hey, it's Dante's tour of Hell, no subtlety needed. I have only read summaries of the original story so cannot tell you how close it is to Dante's version. Beatrice makes a token appearance. But the people shown range from Lizzie Borden to the man who set up the Jews to be blamed for the crucifying of Christ. There's even a surprise guest from the Bush Administration. Fox News provides some transportation.
Gay men are shown being forced to dance to techno music. Someone is condemned for downloading Metallica. Several Popes show up, including John Paul II. Somehow you will be offended by this movie. Get over it.
I am looking forward to owning my own copy so that I can pause the film and read the signs on the scenery.

Hell goes animated as apocalyptic graphic novel artwork and eerie Victorian toy theater converge in this subversively satiric update of a literary classic. Reinterpreted with the use of intricately hand-drawn puppets and stunning miniature sets, this bizarre travelogue narrated by Dante, a hard-living hoodie-clad twenty-something, will take you on a gritty, violent tour of hell that bears a disturbing resemblance to our own world. Featuring the dark, mood-drenched voice of Dermot Mulroney (Zodiac, My Best Friend's Wedding) as Dante, and the wizened pipes of James Cromwell (L.A. Confidential, Six Feet Under ) as his ghostly guide, Dante s Inferno is like nothing you ve ever experienced before.

Orson Welles in "The Hitch Hiker" (2005) Review

Orson Welles in The Hitch Hiker (2005)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Not recognizing the story by it's title, and not particularly a huge fan of animation, I plugged this DVD into my machine with only mild interest and little expectation. And within the first three minutes I was hooked! The feature itself is a mere half an hour length, and it ended way before I was ready for it to finish. The presentation evoked feelings I haven't experienced in years, with Orson Welle's commanding voice bringing me back to long car rides home from my grandparents house, sitting next to my father in the front seat, and listening to recordings of the old radio shows on the powerhouse "WJR Detroit - The Great Voice of the Great Lakes." There is a quality in the animation of this version of "The Hitch Hiker" which makes the story seem bigger and more important, like wonderful illustrations in a classic book. And there is an absolute intrigue in this production that will appeal to old and young alike. This story has been captured in various productions throughout the years, but none like this. This is a fresh and unique concept, combining the vocal performance of a master story teller with the visual allure of a gallery of wonderful renderings. I haven't finished watching all of the extras on this DVD, and I don't that I will. But the feature presentation was well worth the price, and I've shared it with many of my family and friends who are anticipating the next installment in this series as much as I am. Bravo!

I have this on video and I really enjoy watching it. I think the Flintstone's version of Dicken's classic is really interesting. The "Bedrock Bug" concept is funny too. This is highly recommended. Oh, I also liked the line by Philo, the cop: "You'd better get the stars out of your eyes and watch where you're going."

My 5 & 6 year old daughters love the Hello Kitty movies, and this one most of all! We've rented it over and over, and finally decided to buy it. I can almost recite the words throughout the entire movie, but my daughters are glued to it each and every time the watch it. It's a sweet warm interpretation of classic tales.

Hello Kitty - Wizard of Paws (1987)
Average Reviews:

This movie is pretty good for children, because it relates to fairytales but with Hello Kitty. The only reason I didn'y give it five stars, is because the graphics and characters are no where near as good as the movies made by the Sanrio Company; "Mom Loves Me After All," "Dream Theif," and "Santa's Missing Hat." The Sanrio-made movies are original and in my eyes, a lot better, but I still give this movie a thumb up.

Up (Four-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo + BD Live) (2009) Review

Up (Four-Disc Blu-ray/DVD Combo + BD Live) (2009)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I had no expectations of being disappointed with a Disney/Pixar BD, and being that it took me a whole dedicated day to get through everything, I now feel it was worth every penny. The film was enjoyable, funny, sad, and scary filled with some nice messages about life and loss. I can understand why the majority of my customers loved it.
The Blu clarity is outstanding, and the amount of reference points are extensive, but one that stands out the most for contrast lines would have to be when the house is entering the lair (balloons against the dark cavern). The sound is selectable between 5.1 DTS, 2.0 DTS and Descriptive English. The 5.1 was beautiful with tons of reference points, sometimes excruciating (that bird screeching) but thorough nonetheless. Now for the supplements (all times in minutes):
DISC 1: (BD)
* 5:46 Partly Cloudy short film. Was hilarious. A great depth test for your display with the clouds. Nice little message of tolerance no matter how difficult someone might be.
* 4:40 Dug's Mission. An almost lo-def looking short take on our main dog dealing with the main three baddies on a chase.
* 22:17 Adventure Out There. A must see documentary about the crew taking the actual trip to the Tepui location in South America. A beautiful travel infomercial in itself. Loved how their guide only wore sandles for the ascent and hikes.
* 4:56 Alternate Scenes Ending of Muntz. Sketches and interviews regarding different endings for that bad guy that they had come up with.
* 1:00 How-to on using the Digital Copy.
* Cine Explore option while watching the film. The two directors give their commentary with multiple pop-up screens showing art, ideas, etc.
* Screen Saver. Allows you to set a time period for your screen saver to activate.
* Maximize Your Home Theater. The standard Pixar multi-step process for setting all of your theater capabilities.
DISC 2: (BD)
Documentaries
* 6:24 Geriatric Hero. History behind the creation of our old guy. All of these documentaries are interview oriented with sketches and film clips to supplement.
* 8:26 Canine Companions. In depth analysis on the breed choices, training and dog behavior studied to get the dogs in the film to be more - dog like.
* 9:00 Russel Wild Explorer. Covers the reasons for his character to have the loss and why he was "egg" shaped as opposed to other sketch ideas.
* 5:04 Kevin (bird). Nice reference to the Swiss Family Robinson ostrich; covered the hardest part of any of these animation films - the feathers.
* 4:38 Homemakers Pixar. Enjoyed the work that went into them studying sub-floors and lighting options in making this look so real in the house.
* 6:25 Balloons and Flight. Tells the now famous number of balloons used; some interesting dirigible history; shows the Pixar group using that local Bay Area air service I keep seeing fly around here (research stuff).
* 7:37 Composing for Characters. Have to be into the musical/scoring stuff for this one.
Extras
* Global Guardian Badge Game. After the initial setup of name, difficulty levels and tutorial material, the game has an extensive amount of country/geography material. Customers grouped around and we did fine for the United States section, but we randomly tried Africa and we bombed (some of the countries they were asking for I hadn't heard of in years) - good learning tool though.
* 9:15 Alternate Scene - Married Life. Another sketch/interview piece about more material being removed/added into that section of the film. The scene itself would have been only a minute longer.
* 6:00 montage. A mix of characters doing funny things - will make the kids laugh.
* Screen Saver option.
DISC 3 (DVD)
* Film, plus special features from disc 1. WITH THE EXCEPTION of no Spanish subtitles/language; English only.
DISC 4 (Digital Copy).
* Code both unlocks the copy and gets you the usual points at the Disney site.
Overall, an excellent product no matter how you look at it. The case has that new single hinge, multi-page off center chassis that has proven to be less than durable, but it should suffice for low usage storage. Enjoy.

Watched Monster House in 3d last night with my 12 year old. It was fantastic, the 3d was great, next to no ghosting and i was paying attention to the detail of the movie. Lots of laughs and fun. The quality was alot better than Monsters vs Aliens and cloudy with a chance of meatballs, which i noticed much more ghosting around images. Buy it and enjoy, the last 15 minutes i kept saying wow.

Omishi Magical Theater: Risky Safety Vol. 1 Review

Omishi Magical Theater: Risky Safety Vol. 1
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I took a chance with this DVD, the first ever release from AN Entertainment. I usually don't like cutsey shows, and I'd never heard of this one before, but my curiosity got the better of me. And so did the show! Risky Safety is a really charming little gem that anybody will love, regardless of whether you're an anime fan or not. The characterizations are just so appealing, and the story is really well written. The English dub is also surprisingly engaging and natural sounding, which really helps create a great atmosphere.
I was thrilled to discover that the DVD features a really attractive reversible cover and a great insert of really intelligent and informative liner notes that are also included as a bonus feature on the disc itself.
The episodes are only 10 minutes long, but they're a perfect length to keep you interested without bogging down the pace. This is seriously a surprisingly addictive little show. Don't let the look fool you into skipping over this one. If you like good anime, I bet you'll fall in love with Risky Safety the same way I did.

I have seen this Play live in Kansas City and I must agree. I laughed, cried, was angry, sad and happy. But thank god for the majority I was laughing. :)
It involved every emotion that we experience in life, and not to be dissapointed had quiet a few lessons in it.
As with every good comedy, you take someones hardship and make fun of it' a lot of people will laugh, because they can relate. The cast was the best he has had yet. Very talented all the way through and I had my favorites of course. "Yaaaa Trick!!!" lol
I have seen all of Tyler Perry's Plays, watched all of his movies. But with this one I wasnt even out of the Sprint Center and asked if they had the play on DVD. But was told I had to wait until november. :( sniff.
I have never ever in 40 years waited on any movie or play ...on anything for that matter for 6 month,
but for this I did.
Thank You Tyler for opening my eyes on a few things and making me laugh while you are sharing your experience and pain.
Buy it, trust me you will not regret it, it's worth every penny!
(Oh and this is my first ever review. Can you tell? lol)

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters for DVD (2007) Review

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters for DVD (2007)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
After reading numerous criticisms from the press and seeing similar reviews on amazon I am aware that this makes me the minority....but I loved it. Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon movie wasn't supposed to be the next best movie of all time. It was made with under a million dollars and wasn't even a wide release. Everyone expected it to get panned, and we knew all along that this would be a movie purely for the fans. And the fans love it!
Everyone in the theater seemed to love it too. The first 30 minutes are admittedly the best, but people were cracking up pretty much up until the end. If you like the Aqua Teen Hunger force show, you should like this. It is exactly what you would figure the movie to be: It is structured the same way the shorts are, but with much more content. Actually, when you take one of the seasons on DVD and do the "play all" that's basically the equivalent of watching this movie. Yeah, there is a plot line consistent through the movie, but that plot line is paper thin. Essentially, you could start the movie halfway through and wouldn't feel like you missed anything.
